Who We Are
Tony Wright, Managing Director since founding Quantum Group in 2000, Tony Wright has grown Quantum from a UK-centric recruitment organisation to a global brand in executive search. Tony has over 20 years’ experience in senior search, spanning small boutiques to large international search organisations in London, Tony is an active member of the Search Practice within Quantum.
Tony’s specialises in global ventures and he has recently completed projects in Japan, China, Brazil, the United States and Mexico.
My role as the Managing Director here at Quantum is to lead the business and the team in order to best support our clients and their needs.
Before joining Quantum, Pauline spent 20 years in manufacturing management, commercial, purchasing and supply chain operational roles within a major German Automotive OEM and various 1st tier suppliers.
As the Practice Head of Transportation at Quantum she is responsible for automotive, aerospace and rail executive search, organisational development and coaching within these sectors.
I work with national and global organisations on a range of functional assignments spanning from board level, general management and strategic roles to front-line roles.
I just love food and sharing great quality time with family and friends.
Specialist growth consultant focused on creating value within privately owned recruitment organisations throughout the UK.
Retained as board advisor, mentor, performance coach, and business consultant to support Quantum to achieve its growth objectives.

I have worked for Quantum for nearly 18 months in the role of Account & Admin Manager. I look after the credit control and the office management.
Prior to working for Quantum, I worked for a company for 20 years in a number of highly successful roles as personal assistant and executive assistant roles. In more recent years as a Team Leader and Projects Officer.
I have a wealth of Admin and credit control experience and provide support to the Quantum team.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, I like reading and more recently have took up running to keep fit.
I have joined Quantum to strengthen the senior executive team.
I have operated at a senior level across Manufacturing for 21 years, with 19 years as a dedicated head hunter.
I’m an expert in identifying and attracting senior and middle management talent. I work with and advise a diverse client base within my core markets, mainly in general manufacturing, automotive and aerospace.
Specialties: Senior Managers and specific technical engineering and commercial positions. Core disciplines would be operations, sales, marketing, purchasing & supply chain, quality and engineering, HR, finance and general management and R&D from £60K salaries upwards.
I like going to the gym and riding my bike, cooking and socialising. I’m also a practitioner in NLP so I like to continue my studies in this field
I began my career in recruitment in 2000, moving into executive search a year later as a Senior Consultant with the European division of a major US listed head-hunting firm. Between 2006 – 2018 I’ve worked for two boutique executive search firms.
I’ve completed assignments across a range of industries with key areas of specialisation including General Management/MD, Operations, Commercial & Technical at a senior level (c£70-200k+) within engineering & manufacturing, infrastructure, building products & building services, and consumer durables & domestic appliances. I’ve worked across other functional areas too such as supply chain, logistics, purchasing, finance, marketing and HR. I’ve completed mandates throughout the UK and into Europe, United States & Canada, Australia and Asia-Pacific. Clients have ranged from venture capital and private equity portfolio companies; to SMEs, blue chip and FTSE listed companies.
Outside of work I have a busy life with four children. Thankfully I also have a fantastic wife! I like most sports, but particularly rugby (Wasps season ticket holder and I coach the minis at my children’s club), football (Chelsea – a claim to fame is having interviewed former owner Ken Bates as part of my dissertation) and cricket. I like to exercise and will be found in my home gym early every morning. I also enjoy baking and am contemplating applying to the Great British Bake Off! I’m interested in history, psychology and business culture & leadership and try to read as much as I can about this.
Steve has over 20 years of experience operating within a range of Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology sectors delivering talent at the Mid-Senior level across EMEA and North America. Throughout his career, Steve has championed the importance of a robust search, selection and retention strategy to attract and retain talent to ensure business success.
Outside of the office, Steve is an avid music enthusiast and record collector and when not hunting for that obscure record he enjoys both road and off-road running and has completed numerous half marathons and the London Marathon for charitable causes.
I have recently returned to work after having my son and I am enjoying the challenge that being a Credit Controller provides.
I have been a Credit Controller on & off for the last 17 years and I have worked within the Recruitment, Automotive & Insurance industries. I fell into Credit Control by accident, and fell in love with it. It is certainly a role that I enjoy and I thrive working in a busy fast paced environment.
I started my career in sales and account management which provided a good basis for recruitment which I stepped into around 10 years ago. Most of my recruitment experience has been focussed on executive search on a global basis. After establishing myself successfully in a research capacity, I moved up to Consultant and now an Associate Director working in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. I have established strong relations with key clients, working in partnership with them to understand their requirements and find the best talent to meet those needs. I have also worked as a consultant to some of our clients, providing outplacement, helping clients to restructure their business and design and conduct assessment centres for multiple positions.
I enjoy spending time with my family, running and going to the gym and watching rugby!
Jon has been involved in international technology hiring for a number of years across technology consulting and systems integration now focussing his attention on the rise of sensing and IoT in our daily life. Technology is playing a pivotal role in our future and Jon is expanding Quantum’s capability across Automotive, Industrial, White Goods and Aerospace & Defence paying attention to a plethora of sensing technologies across multiple applications and systems.
Jon is a big petrol head and purveyor of new ales, not in combination! A keen squash and golf (badly) player and unfortunately an Arsenal fan!
Stephen has worked in Executive Search since graduating from Lancaster University with a Philosophy BA in 2015.
Coming from a research-led background, Stephen now focuses on developing relationships across the global Transportation, Industrial and Technology sectors.
Alongside his business activities, Stephen has a wide range of interests and enjoys discussing technology, world affairs and politics. In his leisure time, Stephen enjoys outdoor pursuits and regularly plays squash, tennis and golf.
I have been working at Quantum since 2014 as a Research Consultant. My remit is to deliver search projects by identifying and qualifying candidates for mid-senior management positions in the automotive industry. At Quantum I have worked on a varied portfolio of assignments in General Management, M&A, Operations, Logistics, Program Management, Plant Management, HR, Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Finance functions globally, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, UK, the CEE region, South America and the USA. With over 10 years of experience in recruitment, I have had the opportunity to support high profile clients who are at the forefront of their industry, as well as a diverse range of candidates who were at different stages in their career. As a senior member of the Research team I have contributed to the training and development of junior colleagues over the years.
My main interests outside of work are spending time with family, live music, foreign languages and fencing.
I am responsible for supporting the Senior Consultants in researching and approaching candidates to fit in line with the Client’s needs.
I started my career within the Food and Beverage industry and progressed into a Business Support function for two Interim Executive Management companies. I have been at Quantum for a year now and support the Global research of Executive Professionals to best support our Clients across all different industries.
I like to interact with people on all different levels so in my spare time I am a volunteer Youth Leader for a local church. I love to read Psychology books to get a better understanding as to why people behave the way they do and how to best communicate them. And of course, this is all supported by a love of good coffee!
I joined Quantum in 2017 as a Research Consultant. Only starting my recruitment career in 2015, Quantum have been a real support in helping me grow and develop. My remit is to support the Senior Consultants with the Client’s needs and mapping the current market across a number of industries, speaking with many people in different countries.
In my spare time I like to socialise with my friends and play the occasional badminton match, you will also be able find me with my nose buried in a crime book!
Around 2 years ago, after working as a Dental Nurse for the NHS, I started recruiting for the NHS. I then had the opportunity to join another recruitment company and work in the automotive sector as an Account Manager and this is where I gained most of my recruitment experience. I am now fortunate enough to be working for Quantum alongside the Consultants as a Researcher, learning different skills and having the opportunity to work in more sectors.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling and weekend trips away, dog walking and spending time with close friends and family.
Alice has a background in legal recruitment and more recently executive search. Alice’s experience is predominantly focused across engineering, manufacturing, logistics and HR. Alice prides herself on having great interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with individuals across multiple levels and industry sectors.
Prior to recruitment Alice worked within customer service lead industries for 8 years’ and this becomes obvious in the way I conduct myself as a Search Consultant.
Outside of work Alice is attends the gym on a Semi-regular basis, is a more frequent Gin drinker, but most importantly she likes spending time with family and friends.
Marketa is a professional talent recruiter and has recently returned to Quantum. She brings a successful proven track record in hiring middle and senior level leadership within General Management, HR, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, Sales and many other positions across various industry sectors, in particular, engineering, manufacturing, finance, banking and accounting throughout EMEA.
Marketa is multilingual (Czech mother tongue), with fluent English, German and Slovak and holds a Bachelors’ Degree from Masaryk Pedagogical Faculty in Brno, Czech Republic. Marketa is a reliable member of the team who is dedicated to attracting and recruiting the right candidate with the right job.
