Case Study: Adele Spiby, Consultant.

Adele Spiby began working for Quantum 4 years ago and now works as a Consultant, fully managing several high profile clients. She enjoys the open and progressive culture of Quantum and has found the company’s support of her own career invaluable:

“I joined Quantum in 2011 as a Research Consultant, focusing on the consumer electronics industry. Initially, my remit was to support the senior consultants in their search for candidates but the company was quick to recognise that I was capable of more and within the first 6-12 months I was given the opportunity to accompany Pauline (Recruitment MD, Pauline McGuirk) to client meetings, presentations and interviews, with the aim of growing my skills and learning the techniques needed to progress my career.

The support which Quantum has offered me since I first joined has enabled me to gradually build more autonomy on the accounts I’ve worked on and to diversify into other areas of search and development. My ambitions are important to the company and I’m always actively encouraged to pursue personal opportunities and consider my own career path.

 

I took 9 months maternity leave in 2012 and since my return have been supported in driving my career forward once again, leading to my promotion to the position of Consultant in 2014.
